“That’s way too much money to charge for an email campaign.” http://post.ly/jifN

Allocate the time necessary to execute to the goals you have, not elsewhere. Time is the most contentious and highly demanded item in the new digital age.  Especially now that information, entertainment, collaboration, and transportation have all been commoditized and/or are freely available.  Time must be managed accordingly.  If not, it will be effortlessly filled with less important non-goal activities, derailing you from your desired life trajectory. From email, to facebook, to news readers, tv, games, movies, parties, lunches, etc. even your day job itself, ALL are demanding of your attention and time. Ask yourself how much time you allocate to goal vs. non-goal activities throughout your day. Going forward, evaluate and triage each thing that comes across during the course of the day.  Painful or awkward as it might be, be honest to the time sink each can cost during the hours of the day. This doesn’t mean to be neglecting or miserly of  your professional work, personal relationships and/or relaxation times, just be conscious of the ownerships these things take of your day. Reflect upon the wins achieved in this prioritization effort and reward yourself mentally for being true to yourself.
